Duties and Responsibilities
Involved in maintenance and delivery of records/data management services and systems, which may include, but not limited to: inventory tracking, off-site storage/retrieval, dissemination, classification, retention, disposition, media conversion and management of technical repositories. Proficiently uses standard software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, database applications and electronic document and records management systems.
Qualities and Skills
• Ability to use computer systems, builds up on SSH document management systems knowledge.
• Retrieving, receiving, scanning and filing information from all relevant SSH Sources, then distributing them to the required staff effectively.
• Managing one’s own time.
• Demonstrates ability to use phones, emails, and other communication systems competently, and relates key pieces of information to the required personnel (Mail, Calls, email).
• Demonstrates willingness to take on other responsibilities.
• Identifies and corrects data discrepancies in order to eliminate errors and ensure accuracy.
• Assist the Resident Engineer and Discipline leads in drafting day-to-day correspondence and other project documents, as may be required.
• Follow up on submittals under review with the site team, issue reminders.
• Maintain meticulous tracking registers of all project documentation, provide regular summaries (minimum weekly) and assist the Planning Engineer and RE in producing accurate data for the weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Communication skills – the DC is expected to communicate regularly with own team, Contractor’s DC and QA/QC, and at times Clients.
• Good command of English Language

Qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline, IT knowledge/experience is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrable previous experience as DC on construction projects.
• EDMS (ACONEX, Unifier, Procore and other similar) experience or certification.
