SSH has seen a positive shift in position in ENR Magazine’s annual Top International Design Firm ranking for 2018.
This year’s list ranks SSH at 91 out of a total of 225 international design companies, a jump of four places from its ranking of 95 for 2017’s results.
The ENR listing ranks companies based on total revenue achieved for design-oriented services delivered beyond their home markets over the course of 2017.
In the respected industry publication’s editorial overview accompanying the ranking, ENR states the global design market is sluggish, but that local politics and a potential trade war could stall any recovery. Despite this bleak outlook, ENR quotes Matt Squires, CEO of SSH, as saying SSH is facing the market well.
“Even though our rapid growth indicates otherwise, during this past period we have found the GCC markets to be soft with an extremely competitive environment,” Matt is quoted as saying in ENR’s overview. “We have positioned ourselves well, making our offering and value proposition attractive to withstand these market pressures.”
