Emyr joined SSH in June 2019 as the Infrastructure Director, responsible for delivering infrastructure design on major development projectsto both public and private sector clients, as well as driving the growth of the Infrastructure Division.
Emyr has been working in the Middle East since 2005 with major international consultancies and has experience in delivering major infrastructure projects, including Ras Al-Khair, an 11,000 ha industrial city in Saudi Arabia; Diyar AI Muharraq, primary infrastructure design for the 1,200 ha mixed-use development which is one of the largest artificial island developments in the GCC, located in the north of Bahrain; Project Habitat, a 3,500 villa development and secondary infrastructure within the main Diyar development; Lusail and Education City mixed-use developments in Qatar; and Mubarak Port Kabeer, a new container terminal port in Kuwait.
Prior to working in the GCC, Emyr worked with AMEC in the UK for four years and with a Civil Engineering Contractor prior to that. He has broad experience working with contractors, programme and project management, as well as liaising with design consultancies.
Emyr holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering from Cardiff University in the UK.Download CV
