Principal Infrastructure Engineer
Toral joined SSH, Infrastructure Division in August 2014 as Senior Engineer and is now Principal Infrastructure Engineer leading the Wet Utility team both in Kuwait and Bahrain. She is responsible for supervising and guiding the design team for effective delivery of the projects while ensuring project specific design criteria and quality control procedures are achieved.
Toral has more than 21 years of experience in public health engineering, environmental projects covering the areas of water, Industrial wastewater and its treatment, sewerage and its treatment and storm water. She has led and contributed to the delivery of a wide range of solutions to infrastructure challenges and gained an understanding for the need to provide a co-ordinated design approach on a variety of both large and small-scale domestic and international projects. She has experience within the India, UK, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and UAE markets.
Toral has been in GCC since 2009 and has contributed to successful designing of infrastructure for Al Ula Winter Camp, Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Highway Upgrade, Bahrain, Al Shadadiya Industrial Area, Kuwait, Phase A4-A5 Sewage Treatment Plant, Kuwait, Sheikh Jabber Al – Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway Project, Kuwait, KOC Housing Project, Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre to name a few.
Prior to moving to GCC, Toral worked for with Mott MacDonald for ten years in their various offices in India and United Kingdom. She has gained valuable experience in project planning and execution and hydraulic designing of wet utilities.
Toral is a gold medallist graduate in Environmental Engineering from L D College of Engineering, India, 1995 followed by a master’s degree in Water and Wastewater Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, 1997.
