Social Habilitation Centre

Social Habilitation Centre 0

The Social Habilitation Centre aims to integrate people with disabilities into supportive communities through a range of comprehensive services. The design consists of a 20,000 sqm centre with three buildings – the Early Childhood Education and Therapeutic Centre, Male Adult Training and Vocational Habilitation, and Female Adult Training and Vocational Habilitation – as well as outdoor areas for after-school activities and training.

Social Habilitation Centre 1

The Early Childhood Education and Therapeutic Centre will accommodate approximately 200 children and 83 staff members with 25 classrooms. The centre will offer a variety of early intervention, educational, and supportive services, including counseling, adaptive technology, occupational, physical, and speech therapy, adaptive physical education, sensory disability services, art and music therapy, yoga, and social skills training. The building features a dental clinic on the ground floor with a separate entrance.

Social Habilitation Centre 2

The Male Adult Training and Vocational Habilitation building will accommodate 128 patients and 75 staff members with classroom-style habilitation, pre-vocational training, educational support, assistive and adaptive technology, and social and recreational integration.

The services offered will include outpatient vocational, clinical, and rehabilitative care; medical and nutritional services; vocational assessments; counseling and training; and training in adaptive technology. Although it is in a different building, the Female Adult Training and Vocational Habilitation Centre provides the same services as the male facility.
