23/10/2026
Sophie Jules Massant, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at SSH, participated in HRSE Dubai 2026, organised by Informa Connect HR Events, contributing to discussions on the evolving role of HR leadership and its impact on business performance.
As part of the HR Leaders Conference, Sophie joined fellow HR leaders for a panel discussion titled ‘The New Mandate for CHROs: Driving Transformation Through People Strategy’, exploring the evolving role of HR leadership in shaping business strategy and organisational success.
The discussion explored the transformation of the CHRO role from a traditional HR function to a strategic business partner. Key themes included the growing importance of business acumen, technological awareness and a deep understanding of human behaviour in navigating organisational change and supporting business objectives.
A central takeaway was the need for HR leaders to move beyond identifying people-related challenges and deliver strategic business solutions that drive organisational performance, strengthen leadership effectiveness and support long-term success.
In addition to her participation in the conference, Sophie served on the judging panel for The Future Workplace Awards 2026, held as part of HRSE Dubai. The awards recognise organisations, leaders and innovators shaping the future of work through innovative, inclusive and employee-centric workplace practices.
