At the heart of Muscat, the prestigious Royal Opera House complex stands as a landmark destination and centre of excellence in Oman’s city scape, enriching lives through diverse artistic, cultural, and educational programmes.

The Royal Opera House’s multidisciplinary programme showcases rich and diverse artistic creations from Oman, the region, and the world. It provides a platform for cultural expression and socioeconomic development, inspires audiences, nurtures creativity and emerging talent, promotes cultural tourism, and puts cultural diplomacy into practice by reinvigorating global and multidisciplinary collaborations and exchanges.

SSH was appointed to provide design and construction supervision services for the Opera Galleria high-end shopping mall, including all engineering disciplines and coordination with specialist consultants. The scope also included the associated multi-storey car park, which serves both the mall and the main Opera House. The project has a total built-up area of 19,000 sqm.
