Paving the way towards a more diverse industry

As part of the MEP Middle East magazine March cover story in alignment with this year’s International Women’s Day, Anwaar Al Mahrouqi, Civil Engineer – Supervision Division at SSH, was featured to speak about her experience as a young female engineer operating in a ‘male-dominated’ MEP industry.

Alongside 10 female industry peers who are also advocating for increased diversity and inclusion, Anwaar tells how she believes that equity development across many companies and countries has led to a substantial increase in the number of women joining the construction workforce.
