National Bank of Kuwait HQ awarded LEED Gold Certification

SSH is delighted to see NBK receive the LEED Gold Certification for the NBK Headquarters in Kuwait. This iconic building in the heart of Kuwait City stands a colossal 300 m tall, covering a total floor area of 127,000 sqm. SSH acted as Lead Consultant for Construction Supervision, in association with Foster + Partners and BuroHappold.

LEED certification is an official recognition that a project complies with the requirements prescribed within the Counsils’ LEED rating systems, which evaluates the environmental performance of a building and encourages market transformation toward sustainable design.
