SSH Appointed to Deliver Construction Supervision for Oman’s Latest Cultural Destination

SSH has been appointed as the Construction Supervision Consultant for the Sayyid Tarik bin Taimur Cultural Complex Project, a landmark development being delivered under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in the Sultanate of Oman.

Located in Al Seeb, Muscat, the project will create a nationally significant cultural destination on a 400,000 sqm site. Centred around an urban plaza, the development brings together a range of nationally significant cultural and institutional facilities, including the 23,000 sqm National Library, the 15,500 sqm National Archives, four facilities buildings with a combined area of 14,000 sqm, and a 5,000 sqm Energy & Data Centre. At its heart is the National Theatre, comprising 1,000-seat and 250-seat auditoriums, all set within landscaped gardens, water features, and a signature canopy structure.

As the Construction Supervision Consultant, SSH is providing comprehensive construction supervision services throughout the delivery, overseeing construction activities, monitoring quality, coordinating specialist sub-consultants, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to support the successful delivery of this complex cultural development.
