SSH appoints new Infrastructure Director
01/06/2022
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jamal Abdulla as SSH Infrastructure Director, who will focus on business acumen and growth, building on the solid roots that the infrastructure team has developed since 2012.
Jamal joined SSH in November 2012 as a Senior Project Manager involved in managing and successfully delivering SSH’s major infrastructure projects across various markets and areas of operations. His appointment comes as a natural result of the instrumental role he has played in growing the SSH infrastructure business since joining, and we trust that Jamal will successfully continue and expand on this journey as we enter 2022 with resilience and agility towards ever changing market conditions.
Through previous roles working in Bahrain for the local government (Ministry of Works) and private sector for several developers and consultants, Jamal has more than 25 years of considerable experience in the project management and supervision of highways and highway related structures. In addition, Jamal has a management capability for business development and familiarity of the local and regional markets. He also fully comprehends all facets of the industry supply chain and key deliverables, including clients, contractors and consultancy organisations.
Jamal obtained a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, USA, as well as a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Bahrain. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), USA, a member and Traditional Fellow of the International Road Federation (IRF), USA, and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA.
We welcome Jamal in his new role and are confident that he will make an invaluable contribution towards the business as a whole.
