SSH Celebrates Record Safety Milestone – 13 Million Man-hours Injury Free
18/10/2020
Delivering a best-in-class workplace safety culture takes full commitment from every level of an organisation. And that commitment is shining through at SSH this month as the Dubai Creek Harbour – Creek Horizon team celebrates an impressive safety milestone of 13 million man-hours without a lost time incident (LTI). We are extremely proud of the Project team who embraced the safety culture of ‘One Team, One Culture’. We could not have achieved this great safety milestone without each person’s hard work and total dedication to safety.
Nikolina Nedialkova, Senior Resident Engineer at SSH, acknowledged, “This is a remarkable achievement, even in normal times. A few months ago, we celebrated 10 million safe man-hours. Then we faced the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic that changed every aspect of our lives. Yet, we mitigated the associated risks, prevented the spread of the virus on site, and supported and protected each other all the way. We are just one step from completion with an impeccable safety record, and I am truly honoured to have been part of such an amazing team. I am also extremely grateful to our client and employer Emaar, the contractor Al Futtaim Construction, and every member of our outstanding SSH Supervision team. Well done indeed.”
