SSH wins an award for Juman Two at this year’s Africa & Arabia Property Awards

The SSH designed Juman Two is an award winner at this year’s Africa & Arabia Property Awards for Architecture in the Multiple Residence Oman category.

Juman sits in the heart of Al Mouj, Muscat’s vibrant Marsa District. With a total floor area spanning 26,000 sqm, this ground-floor plus six-storey development offers a range of one- and two-bedroom high-end apartments with a 230-bay basement parking area. All apartments are located around the landscaped garden and pool area, which is raised above the marina quay level for privacy while providing clear views of the marina. The penthouse floor consists of eight two-bedroom apartments and sixteen one-bedroom apartments.

The design of Juman Two was inspired by Oman’s nature and immediate surroundings. Stone, wood, and bronze make up the natural material palette, which features a variety of warm browns and greys that can be found on Oman’s rocky outcrops and sandy beaches. The choice of finishes provides a relaxed yet elegant feel to the coastal. From the moment of arrival, the building’s design offers the ultimate sense of luxury and magnificence while always respecting the residents’ privacy.

The vision for this project was to unlock and transform the new luxury neighbourhood by opening up an unprecedented area of the site to public use, introducing a generously landscaped open space at the centre of the scheme, and creating routes to connect the residential areas of Juman Two directly to the waterfront promenade.

Located within proximity, Juman Two followed a similar design to Juman One, which was also designed by SSH. Both buildings form a perfect blend of luxury resort-style living set in a beautiful marina-front location.

The Africa & Arabia Property Awards celebrate the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry. An International Property Award is a world-renowned mark of excellence.
