J1 Beach – Designing a New Era of Coastal Luxury

J1 Beach transforms the former La Mer South site into a vibrant destination that blends luxury dining with relaxed beachfront living. The goal: to create an iconic address with exclusive beach clubs, world-class restaurants, and a seamless indoor-outdoor experience for both residents and global visitors.

Spanning approximately 30,000 sqm, J1 Beach comprises 13 licensed venues, each with direct access to the shoreline and sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf. A mix of single-storey and G+1 structures ensures unobstructed sea views while maintaining a low-rise, elegant skyline that integrates with the surrounding context.

The architectural language is inspired by Santorini’s coastal homes, with a minimalist white palette that reflects natural light and enhances the tranquil atmosphere. Glazed sea-facing fronts offer uninterrupted views, while solid entrance façades create privacy and distinction.

Landscaping and public areas were designed as a harmonious transition between the vibrant beachfront and the sophisticated interiors. Inspired by Mediterranean landscapes, the spaces are enhanced with olive and lemon trees that add texture, scent, and shade – creating a relaxed, sensory-rich environment that invites guests to enjoy both the beauty of nature and the luxurious atmosphere of J1 Beach.
