Job Summary
The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for leading the structural design and delivery of building projects from concept through construction. The role involves managing structural engineering activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with local and international design standards, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions that meet client expectations, project requirements, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design for residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, education, and mixed-use developments.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and local authority requirements.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, geotechnical, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support project delivery, resource planning, and technical problem-solving.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project phases.
- Support construction activities through design reviews and site-related technical assistance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 12 to 15 years of Experience
- Design background and aware for design of RC buildings, Foundations design, PT design, and Steel design
- Design consultancy background
- Oman Municipality approval
- Professional accreditation (CEng, MIStructE, PE, MICE, or equivalent) preferred.
- Omani nationality will be more preferred
