Al Andalus Mixed-use Complex

Al Andalus Mixed-use Complex is located in Kuwait’s Hawally District. Spread across more than 40,000 sqm, the development offers various services such as food and beverage outlets, retail and entertainment facilities including 11 cinemas, a gym, clinics, and office components housed in a tower. Al Andalus is linked by a pedestrian bridge to an existing multilevel car park with approximately 1,200 parking areas.

Kuwait’s traditional street malls and urban aspects are upheld in the design concept while simultaneously keeping it open and inviting to passing traffic and pedestrians alike. To create an attractive commercial hub, the outdoor landscape includes a square plaza, patios, walkways and balconies among its seating areas for food and beverage spaces.

SSH was awarded the project following its experience and expertise in the design of mixed-use retail and entertainment complexes in Kuwait. This was a prerequisite set by the client, who was pleased to work with SSH on delivering this significant entertainment destination in the Hawally District.
