Al Mouj

SSH has been appointed by Al Mouj, Muscat to provide design consultancy services for a luxury residential apartment development and villa residences on two sites within Al Mouj project. Site 1 encompasses the apartment development.

Site 1: To further define this as a luxury development, hierarchy plays a key role in the design approach. The larger apartments are located closer to the water. As you move up the development vertically, the units become more prestigious, providing a beacon or landmark for Al Mouj and Oman as a whole.

SSH has structured the site with traditional view corridors and axes. This provides dramatic views throughout the development, showcasing the sense of space and defining place.

This style of architecture can be seen in developments such as The Chedi and more traditional buildings such as Al Hambra in Granada. Site 1 consists of 58 units and the total area is 20,760 sqm.

SSH has been appointed by Al Mouj, Muscat to provide design consultancy services for a luxury residential apartment development and villa residences on two sites within Al Mouj project. Site 2 encompasses the villa residences.

Site 2: SSH has maximised the site’s potential by orientating as many villa units as possible to achieve desirable water views, hence the designed shape of the building. The boulevard on the other side will be framed by a linear-shaped, yet fragmented, building accommodating desirable apartments.

SSH’s scope of services will cover architectural, structural, MEP, landscape, interior and lighting design.
