Widening of Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Highway and Jasrah Interchange Upgrade – AMAS Package 4

Al Madina Al Shamaliya (AMAS) is one of several major housing projects initiated by the government of Bahrain as part of Bahrain Vision 2030, which envisages the creation of sustainable housing on behalf of the Ministry of Housing. AMAS Highway Access Improvement Package 4 is vital for the provision of adequate road connectivity and capacity for the success of the AMAS development. The project is funded by Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development Fund (KFAED).

SSH, in partnership with Mott MacDonald, is undertaking the pre- and post-engineering consultancy services for the design and supervision of the road and bridges, as part of the widening and upgrading of the Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Highway. The total length of the project is 12 km and will include two grade-separated interchanges.

The consultancy services include feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed designs, and providing tender assistance services to the ministry. SSH will also provide supervision services to the client for the construction works.
